It was 4 years ago. I was recovering from a car wreck. a drunk driver blew through a stop sign and broad sided me. My truck was totaled and I was left with 3 ruptured disc in my lower back. The drunks insurance company went bankrupt and I was left with the Dr. bills and no income.

The brothers stopped by a couple times to encourage me to get to the meetings. They weren't concerned that we were subsisting on macaronia and cheese and that the Salvation Army had been the ones to pay our gas bill the previous month. I informed them that my back pain made it impossible to sit for very long.

I went back to the meeting. It was a Thursday night. I sat in the rear for about 10 minutes before I had to stand up. Then standing became too painful and I sat back down. This went on for the first half of the meeting. After the song in the middle of the meeting, I again stood and went to the back of the hall. I was then approached by two brothers, an elder and servant. They took me outside and said that I was becoming a distraction.

I informed them that it would NEVER happen again.

Since then the only contact I have had with them is to point out their lies and the evil present in their leadership.

I'll never look back.

Are you a vengeful person?

it has been said that "vengence is the bastard child of justice.".

are you a vengful person?

when someone hurts you, sometimes, do you hurt them back?

I would have to say yes.

I think the world would be a much kinder place if vengence against wrong doing was admistered. Too much time and effort is wasted making excuses for evil deeds and preaching forgiveness for the transgressors.

I must admit I have a list of those that have "wronged" me. As time and opportunity present I will see to it that the scales are balanced.

"Bastard child of Justice"? Works for me. Fear of vengeful reprisals on the part of victims might just make perps think twice before crossing the line.

Justice in Hell

the gates of hell hold not for me the threat of any harm.. ive faced the demons waiting there, the flames not more than warm.

my soul has seen the wickedness of men and know their ways.. i have the need to bring them down and to their judgment days.. my heart is scarred to know that once i was part of their flock.. behind my back, they did to babes things that a murderer would shock.

My eyes were shown the truth of it; my heart discerned their wrongs.

No more could I hold fast a faith, polluted by perverse throngs.

These evil men do hold the reigns of a people kind and caring.

They prey on innocence and youth, while the “good news” sharing.

I come to now a point in life where I care not for me.

I must see to others welfare, or how can I be free?

With an attitude towards justice and a mind set based on right.

I seek to find a caring god to show all men the light.

But alas, it seems to me that god gives not a damn.

Fine by me, I will alone, their deeds down their throats ram.

If paradise holds a place for wicked hurtful souls.

Then hell will be the place for me I’ll sign up for its rolls.

Again, I say I’d rather be in hell with demons true.

Than with men who take from youth, purity born true.

Come with me; take up a sword, lets venture into the fray.

For if god will not protect the young, it is our duty to make them pay.

Right is right and wrong is wrong, on this I stand fast.

I’ll see those bastards dead indeed if its the action of mine last.

i didn't, but indirectly i did.

I won the "Best sea lion" imitation contest last night at the Japanese steak house!

I was the only one at the table to catch the shrimp in my mouth.

The grand prize was...........another piece of shrimp

An idea for $$$ and a cookbook for Simon's board

it has been suggested that we have a recipe collection for posters on jwd.. and that idea was taken one step further by suggesting that we make a cookbook with the various recipes provided by the posters here.

all proceeds from the book would go to simon to help support the board (which would be a lot easier than everyone getting a cut of the "profits".

it would be pretty easy to get a collection of recipes and make up some cds.. i um have actually edited a cookbook before.
